Making Buttons

I needed some large buttons for my knitting projects so I decided to try to make my own. I used Super Sculpey clay (for the first time) and am so pleased with the result. A little acrylic paint, some creativity and sealer.... Presto!...I have buttons.
I enjoyed this so much and it was such a nice break from doll making that I think I will be doing this a lot in 2013.

Happy New Year all!

Needle felted pendants

This is what I do when I need a break from cloth. I have been fascinated with fiber since I learned to needle felt hair on my dolls in 2006.  I have several large pieces in my home of felted wildlife. I wanted to do something much smaller to fill the time between projects so I started making pendants.

I have enjoyed doing these so much. My friends love them and they have been great gift ideas. I will be listing some of them in my Etsy store and on ebay soon.
