Making Buttons

I needed some large buttons for my knitting projects so I decided to try to make my own. I used Super Sculpey clay (for the first time) and am so pleased with the result. A little acrylic paint, some creativity and sealer.... Presto!...I have buttons.
I enjoyed this so much and it was such a nice break from doll making that I think I will be doing this a lot in 2013.

Happy New Year all!

Cloth and Clay doll

I wanted to work on something different.

Found I can be a real cluts with clay.

His little head kept hitting the table while I was dressing him.
This clay holds up!

A Little Gourd Doll

I made this doll for a wonderful artist named Daryle Cook.
He named her Raven.
She is made using a small gourd, paper clay, muslin and wool.
