- I am a 43 year old, mother of 2 great kids and several pets. I have a fantastic husband that puts up with all my messes and over looks the mounds of art supplies I drag in. I have been sewing since I was a child. I have been making dolls for a few years now and Love every minute of it. I rarely if ever use patterns, most/all dolls are cut free hand, so every doll is a new adventure. I feel very blessed to be able to do this every day and never tire of it.
